Instructions
Prepare the Crostini
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Arrange the sliced baguette on a baking sheet and lightly brush each side with olive oil.
Sprinkle with a pinch of sea salt.
Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the slices are golden and crisp. Remove from the oven and let them cool.
Assemble the Crostini
Spread a thin layer of fig jam on each crostini.
Optionally, spread a small amount of goat cheese on top of the fig jam.
Place a thin slice of smoked duck breast on each crostini.
Add the Garnish
Garnish each crostini with fresh microgreens or a small piece of arugula.
Season with a touch of freshly cracked black pepper for extra flavor.
Serve
Arrange the crostini on a serving platter and present them as a passed appetizer or on a charcuterie board.
